Originally built in the 1980s, the Vista Way Apartments is used as Disney Cast Member housing for American and International college interns. T&G was contracted to renovate approximately 300 units. A major challenge was the unexpected scope items added during the client’s inspection of the vacated units with no extension to the deadline. Another unforeseen challenge included the water damaged drywall found behind the existing tub/shower surrounds during rehab. T&G completed the renovations without disrupting the tenants while also keeping their safety in mind. The team’s success on the project ultimately led to winning three additional phases.
