Situation >Broward County Public School was seeking a qualified commercial contractor to complete extensive renovations. The scope of work included building a new media center in an existing school, in addition to a new receiving warehouse, public restrooms with drive-way entrance and full site work. The scope included the upgrading of existing restrooms to ADA compliance and provided new fire sprinkler system and fire alarm system throughout school.
The project involved substantial construction on an existing school, while the school remained open throughout construction process. This resulted in multiple shifts of work to take place in
the evenings and weekends around school hours, and regular work hours inside the fenced off construction areas. Although there were unforeseen changes to the schedule by the
owner, T&G team was able to complete the project on time.
